We offer some protection by stripping away email from known mail servers used to send out virus and exploitive emails and other malware. We cannot protect our customers from viruses that hide in web sites and that are unknowingly attached to mail from legitimate senders. It is the responsibility of all users of the Internet to make sure that they have adequate safeguards in place including the use of firewalls and up to date anti-virus software. Using complicated passwords, staying up to date on software releases, avoiding some websites altogether, and having a good backup are other important items in your arsenal. Complicated passwords include upper and lower-case letters, symbols and numbers with a password at least 8 characters long.
